Back to Reality...

By now, I think everyone is back home and back to reality. We came back to the hottest day in Texas so far this year: 105 degrees. Moving to the Oregon coast (as Todd thinks we MUST do) is sounding better and better. I've noticed that several people have already uploaded pictures to our Snapfish! Yeah! If you want to as well, click here for directions or scroll down to the post titled "Online Photo Sharing." Here's one of my favorite pictures from the trip. See (most of) you all next weekend.

Keffer update April 2008

I finally figured out how to get my computers settings right so that I can post an update. It has been a busy Spring for the Keffers. Melanie has had three out of town volleyball tournaments that took her to Omaha, Denver and Minneapolis. Her team is doing great and did qualify for Nationals. We will be make our way to Dallas in late June.

The road has remained busy to Hutch as we have travelled to see Scott and his Hutch bluedragons play baseball. His team took second in their division at 25 - 7 with an overall record of 36-13. They begin their conference playoffs this Saturday. Scott has had a great session, personally being one of 4 conference starters with a record of 6-1. He will now be pitching out of the bullpen. Grandma and Grandpa Letourneau have made it to several games. Check out the Hutch Community College baseball site or the Hutch paper for updates on this team.

Rachel is busy with her Junior year. She got into the National Honors Society and is part of the yearbook staff. She is becoming quite the photographer. She is gearing up for her Senior year...oh so hard to believe.

Brent has been busy getting ready for baseball session. He finished basketball a few weeks ago. His team was coached by Dennis and his Uncle Kevin. The team ended up finishing second in the end of session tourny which was an amazing coaching accomplishment given where they started. Brent enjoyed basketball but is ready to get back into a sport with baseball. His team won their first game and Brent had a great put out from third to first.

As for Dennis and I...that is for another day.

Online Photo Sharing

Hello all! I (Katie) have created an online photo sharing site. You can check it out here. The sign in information is the same for this blog (theletourneaus@gmail.com, rayandbessie). Once there, click on the "Photos" tab at the top. I thought it would be a fun way to share pictures from family functions (i.e.- the upcoming reunion). I have created two albums so far: "Four Generations" and "Great-Grandkids." If you'd like to upload your own photos, there is a button at the log-in that says "Upload Photos Now." You can upload to an existing album, or create your own. Also, I've been trying to find a way to let everyone know when there's been a new post on the blog. The best I can come up with is emailing everyone in my "family" address book from my personal email. There doesn't seem to be any way in connection with blogger. Hope everyone's having a great February...
